The Malaysian Ministry of Health, through the Taiwan Economic Office in Malaysia, requested the Department to arrange a course on food safety in Taiwan for their officials. The course introduced Taiwan’s food management mechanism, laboratory certification system, and the food border inspection system. Visits to FDA labs department and food factories were also arranged.
