                     Outcomes and Benefits

On April 17, 2018, the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office reported the “Plans for
Procuratorate to carry out security checks on criminal cases involving food and drugs” to
the Ministry of Justice for approval. The formulated plan allowed both the Procuratorate and
the Health institution to have necessary information, which would act as a foundation when

establishing a collaboration platform between the Procuratorate and the police departments for
command and coordinating the communication, investigation and press releases when facing food
and drugs related crimes in the future.
