The 3^rd Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention and Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) Expert Circle Meeting on Good Distribution Practice (GDP), hosted by Taiwan (TFDA), was held on March 24-26, 2015 in Taipei.

   The meeting gathered 47 specialized inspectors from 25 countries to share and compare the GDP inspection approach and experiences, discuss GDP regulatory trends and latest issues, and most importantly a Questions & Answers document regarding GDP was drafted in this meeting.

  Inspectors from GDP implemented countries such as England, Canada, Switzerland, Ireland, Sweden, and Spain were invited and gave lectures on interested topics in the meeting.

  Following the meeting, TFDA also invited the speakers from the Expert Circle to give lectures in the GDP International Seminar for Taiwan companies to promote their understanding of GDP. Thus, the local companies is trained to learn the coming challenges of GDP enforcement, and they can prepare better strategies to cope, and will benefit the promoting of the GDP in Taiwan.
